Vintage pastry fork pendant embellished with a gold tone rose detail.
In art and jewellery roses represent romance and enduring love. It is known as the ‘Queen of the flowers’ and has also been linked to Aphrodite, the goddess of love.
This pendant features an American mid-century gold tone rose set on a vintage silver plated fork originally used to eat cake with, hence its one knife like prong. The fork is gently distressed, hammered flat and suspended on a sterling silver curb chain by a silver twisted rope ring.
