Description
This is an unusual shaped vintage pastry fork with a large sparkling, oval cut cascading garland of clear rhinestones thought to be 1960’s. They are of great quality and have open backs with a silver tone finish and a small plain jump ring.
I love how the rhinestones dress and cascade down the side of the pastry fork , it is held in place by heating the end of the wire which gives the piece some movement and is very tactile.
Garlands have been used in many cultures across the world as symbols of purity, beauty, peace, love and passion. The Victorians relished the romantic and sentimental language of flowers.
This pendant is pictured suspended from a recycled sterling silver ball chain (un-hallmarked) Choose between a silver ball chain as pictured here or a silver curb chain necklace, pop a note with your choice in the special instructions at the checkout.
