Vintage strawberry fork pendant embellished with a mid-century American gold tone rose detail.
A three tined fork with an angular back thought to be from the 1930’s. The fork was originally used to eat strawberries with, hence its slender tines and dainty design. The fork is gently distressed and hammered flat . Suspended on a sterling silver curb chain by a silver fluted bail, while the gold flower is attached to the fork by a wire pin. In art and jewellery roses represent romance and enduring love.
