The Triffid Table Lamp
The Triffid Table Lamp
The Triffid is a classic table lamp, gentle and illuminating.
Drawing inspiration from the Japanese pen and ink drawings, she has created the Triffid lamp. A delicate still life flower encased in a glass dome, each one is a one-off piece created by hand.
Fiona Gall makes each piece individually by hand from carefully selected coloured glass objects. The glass is painstakingly scored and broken according to its form and texture and encased with hand rolled wire to form each petal of the flower. The wire is fused and braised to the main stem of the plant.

The Poetry of Ritual & The ‘Superhero’s of Light’ Portraits:
The Concept:
‘The poetry of Ritual’ is about the ritual of creation when something is made by hand. Fiona Gall, for this exhibition has collaborated with Mark Powell (infamous London soho tailor), Terry de Havilland (ultimate British Rock’n’roll cobbler) and Pernod, who are the main sponsors. All have a very ritualistic way in which they create their work and they all also give great attention to detail. The materials they use are very particular and are chosen for their texture and beauty. This beautiful exhibition and pop up shop was first conceived by her dear friend, Jamie Rose, who then styled each of the images.
It is a series of 6 photographic portraits with a subtle surreal twist. Each character in the portraits are dressed in a Mark Powell suit and Terry De Havilland shoes and are juxtaposed with an Emerald Faerie chandelier or detail from her lighting collection. For this series Fiona Gall has created a one off piece of jewellery for each character. Also making an appearance is the styled appearance of the Emerald Faerie as the ‘Pernod Absinthe’s ‘green fairy”. Pernod spoons were used to create the breastplate in the Fairy image.

Cinderella's Revenge
Fiona Gall collaborated with Terry De Havilland, Rock’n’ Roll haute couture shoe designer on this majestic piece entitled “Cinderella’s Revenge”, created as an altar to the love of his shoes.
Terry De Havilland is the ultimate British Rock & Roll shoe designer. His haute couture shoes are lusted after; they are desired. They adorn the feet of beautiful women, the world over like Kate Moss, Lady Ga Ga, Sienna Millar and Selma Hayek.
Suspended beneath the ‘crown’ the spot lit shoes hang surrounded by a curtain of tubular glass, metallic chain, Swarovski crystal, and other carefully crafted details. Miniature magnifying glasses add an Alice-in-Wonderland playfulness allowing viewers to take a closer look, and admire the craftsmanship and detail of the shoes, and the signature metalwork.
Cinderella’s Revenge soars to the heavens with an 8-ft drop, and fibre optic illumination, her tubular glass fringes cause light to subtly fade across the floor amidst a trail of luxuriously covered metallic snakeskin heels.

‘A play between light and shadow ’
The Céleste collection has been inspired by a project Fiona created for haute couture shoe designer, Terry de Havilland called Cinderella’s Revenge.
The grand Céleste collection has various suspended ceiling and wall lamp versions that create atmospheric pools and columns of light and work on a smaller, more accessible scale – inspired by Art Deco glitz and the glamour of the Odeon theatres.
The collection can be customised completely to suit the scale and use of the space, the metal work and perspex detailing can be personalised or branded according to the client’s wishes.
