Description
Every now and again I find a lovely bit of cut glass to use in this collection, a little bit of sparkle amidst the dug up victorian prescription bottles. I think this bottle was either a scent bottle or from a cruet set. Either way it is beautiful piece of glass. It is also thought to be blown lead crystal glass it has defined edges denoting it was cut rather than mould blown with a domed convex shaped base.
This little number is dressed with a brass petal collar, a turned brass candleholder from a piano candlestick, brass chain and an oval copper hand stamped logo.
I should mention that all the candle holders in this Ambrosia collection, like most of my work are completely unique and one off due to the very nature of the materials I use. All the elements are antique & vintage finds, reimagined, repurposed and curated in to new objects.
