Description
Pale blue octangular Victorian Medicine bottle with the words ‘Lamplough’s effervescing pyretic saline’ embossed in glass. It was vigorously marketed by Lamplough, a London chemist & marketed worldwide as a remedy in case of cholera, smallpox and tropical fevers. Dressed with a heavily patinated metal leaf collar a brass turned candleholder with a hand stamped brass tag attached to the back of the bottle.
Taking a standard sized candle.
I should mention that all the candle holders in this Ambrosia collection, like most of my work are completely unique and one off due to the very nature of the materials I use. All the elements are antique & vintage finds, reimagined, repurposed and curated in to new objects.
All our collections can be customised & personalised.
We can also incorporate any bottle or jewellery that is of sentimental value to you.
