Description
Pale Aqua coloured Victorian ‘Scrubb’s fluid’ bottle. Created in the 1890s it was actually an ammonia cleaning fluid “marvellous preparation” ‘Try it in your bath’ was another selling slogan, I am not sure I would considering it also cleans jewellery. This is a very tactile bottle with a ribbed front and rounded form. It is dressed with a heavily patinated metal leaf decoration from a chandelier, with a ‘Viners’ alpha plated candle holder in their Victorian style with amethyst bead and brass logo attached to the back of the bottle.
Taking a standard size candle, 2.2cm round or tapered.
I should mention that all the candle holders in this Ambrosia collection, like most of my work are completely unique and one off due to the very nature of the materials I use. All the elements are antique & vintage finds, reimagined, repurposed and curated in to new objects.
All our collections can be customised & personalised.
We can also incorporate any bottle or jewellery that is of sentimental value to you.
