This antique bottle has traveled far to reach us here in England. It is a Californian fig syrup co bottle made in San Francisco , the company was founded in 1878. Diminutive and rectangular in shape with the words ‘Californian fig syrup’ raised & embossed in the glass. It has a simple brass fluted candleholder from a piano candlestick with a brass hand stamped logo attached to the back of the bottle.
I should mention that all the candle holders in this Ambrosia collection, like most of my work are completely unique and one off due to the very nature of the materials I use. All the elements are antique & vintage finds, reimagined, repurposed and curated in to new objects.
