Vintage strawberry fork pendant embellished with a gold tone rose & leaf detail.
In art and jewellery roses represent romance and enduring love. The rose is known as the ‘Queen of the flowers’ and has also been linked to Aphrodite, the goddess of love.
This pendant features an American mid-century gold tone rose & leaf, set on a three tined fork with an angular back thought to be from the 1930’s. The fork was originally used to eat strawberries with, hence its slender tines and dainty design. The fork is gently distressed, hammered flat and suspended on a sterling silver curb chain by a large twisted rope ring.
The chain is made from recycled silver (un-hallmarked) You can choose between a silver curb chain as pictured here or a silver ball chain necklace. Just pop a note with your choice in the ‘special instructions’ at the checkout.
Each piece of our jewellery is hand stamped with our double ‘A’ icon logo.
